IMT CuCrZr is a metal powder based on copper, alloyed with chromium and zirconium, designed for 3D printing using SLM and LPBF technologies. It is used in the production of high-tech electrical components, aerospace industry and precision engineering. The material combines exceptional thermal conductivity above 280 W/m·K and electrical conductivity with high mechanical characteristics. The 15–53 μm fraction ensures stable flowability by Hall ≤ 20 s/50g, allowing the creation of monolithic elements with complex geometry. The material is supplied in hermetic containers of 5 kg.

Technological properties of CuCrZr powder
The metal copper powder from IMT is fully optimized for layer-by-layer laser melting. Thanks to the high sphericity of particles from 90% and above, the powder mass is perfectly distributed on the working platform of the 3D printer. This prevents the formation of micropores, voids and defects in the structure of the finished product, ensuring high bulk density and monolithic metal.
The composition of the CuCrZr alloy is specially balanced to achieve peak performance characteristics after the completion of the printing cycle and subsequent heat treatment. The introduction of chromium and zirconium eliminates the main drawback of pure copper - a tendency to deform under loads, while maintaining high conductivity indicators.
