Terms of exchange and return of goods

The 3DPrinter online store operates in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Consumer Rights" No. 1023-XII of 12 May 1991 (the "Law"). Your rights and the return procedure are set out below.

1. Return and exchange of goods of proper quality

A purchase made in our online store is a distance contract, so you have the right to withdraw from the contract by notifying us within 14 days of receiving the goods (Art. 13(4) of the Law). Separately, you also have the right to exchange non-food goods of proper quality within 14 days, not counting the day of purchase (Art. 9(1) of the Law).

Important: if we failed to provide you with the information required by Art. 13(2) of the Law about the goods and the terms of sale, the withdrawal period is extended to 90 days from the date you received the goods.

Conditions for return

Goods of proper quality are accepted back if they have not been used and the following are preserved (Art. 9(1) of the Law):

  • marketable appearance;
  • consumer properties;
  • seals and labels;
  • the payment document confirming the purchase (fiscal receipt, delivery note).

Where possible, please keep the original packaging and protective films — this simplifies inspection and speeds up the refund. The absence of packaging alone is not grounds for refusal, provided the marketable appearance and consumer properties of the goods are preserved.

Please note: for consumables (filament, photopolymer resins, powders), an opened vacuum pack or a broken seal means the loss of consumer properties, and such goods cannot be exchanged.

Goods that cannot be returned

Under Art. 13(5) of the Law, you may not withdraw from a distance contract in respect of, among others:

  • goods made to your order or clearly personalised (including items printed to order and materials ordered to a specific specification);
  • software, audio and video recordings whose packaging has been opened;
  • services whose performance began with your consent before the end of the withdrawal period.

The List of goods of proper quality not subject to exchange (return), approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 172 of 19 March 1994, also applies.

Who pays for delivery

For the return or exchange of goods of proper quality, delivery costs are borne by the buyer.

2. Return of defective goods

If defects are found within the warranty period, you have the right, at your own choice, to demand (Art. 8(1) of the Law):

  • a proportionate reduction of the price;
  • free removal of the defects within a reasonable time;
  • reimbursement of the costs of removing the defects.

If substantial defects are found, you have the right to demand termination of the contract with a refund of the amount paid, or replacement of the goods with the same or an equivalent item.

Time limits set by the Law

  • Replacement of goods — immediately, or, where a quality check is required, within 14 days or as agreed by the parties (Art. 8(6) of the Law).
  • If the goods are out of stock — replacement within two months (Art. 8(6) of the Law).
  • Removal of defects — within 14 days or as agreed by the parties (Art. 8(9) of the Law).
  • Refund — on the day the contract is terminated, or, if that is not possible, no later than 7 days (Art. 8(7) of the Law).

Who pays for delivery

Delivery of large-sized goods and goods weighing more than 5 kg for repair, replacement or return, as well as their return to you, is carried out at the seller's expense (Art. 8(5) of the Law). Practically all 3D printers fall into this category.

Before contacting us, please make sure the problem is not caused by incorrect calibration or configuration of the device — contact our technical support, as this often resolves the issue the same day.

3. How to arrange a return

  1. Contact our manager by phone at +380 50 533 41 41 or write to [email protected].
  2. Provide your order number and the reason for the return. Attach photos or video of the goods if needed.
  3. Send the goods via "Nova Poshta" or bring them in person to: Kyiv, 50 Dehtiarivska St. The manager will provide the recipient details for shipping when you contact us.

Notice of withdrawal from the contract may be sent in any form — in writing by email or by post. The date of the notice is the date it was sent.

4. Refunds

Funds are returned to the bank card or IBAN account used for payment, or to the details provided by the buyer.

We refund no later than 7 days from the date the contract is terminated (Art. 8(7) of the Law). Usually it is faster — within 1–3 business days after the goods arrive at our warehouse and are inspected. Inspection of the goods cannot extend the refund period set by the Law.

5. Buyers that are legal entities or sole traders

The Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Consumer Rights" applies to individuals purchasing goods for purposes unrelated to business activity. If the goods were purchased by a legal entity or a sole trader for commercial use, the return terms are governed by the contract concluded between the parties and by the Commercial and Civil Codes of Ukraine.
