FastForm CoCrW — cobalt-chromium powder for additive manufacturing using selective laser melting (SLM / L-PBF). The powder has a fraction of 15-53 microns. The alloy consists of cobalt, chromium, and tungsten, which ensures extraordinary hardness, wear resistance, and excellent biocompatibility of printed parts. Nitrogen protective environment is allowed for printing, and for stable adhesion, a cobalt-chromium platform (CoCr Baseplate) is mandatory. The material is an industry standard in dentistry and medicine for the manufacture of prostheses and implants, and is also used in engineering for the creation of friction nodes. Supplied in 5 kg packaging.
