IMT CoCrW cobalt-chromium powder 15-53 μm, 5 kg

IMT CoCrW is a professional metal powder based on cobalt, designed for 3D printing using SLM and LPBF technologies. It is used in high-precision dental and clasp prosthetics, the manufacture of crowns, bridge and combined prostheses, as well as parts with high elasticity for precision engineering. The alloy is characterized by high elasticity, resistance to crack formation and excellent corrosion resistance of less than 200 μg/cm³. The powder fraction of 15–53 μm ensures excellent flowability ≤ 18 s/50g and allows the production of products with high surface detail, dental frames and implants with stability of thin-walled elements and longevity of prostheses. The material is supplied in hermetic containers of 5 kg.

Technological properties of CoCrW powder

The metal cobalt-chromium powder from IMT is fully optimized for layer-by-layer laser melting using SLM and LPBF technologies. The alloy has high purity and accurately defined proportion of alloying elements. Thanks to the balanced content of tungsten, the overall hardness and stability of thin structures during thermal and mechanical loads are increased.

Considering the technological requirements for working with IMT CoCrW material, the corresponding CoCr Baseplate platform is used for 3D printing, and nitrogen is a certified working environment in the printer chamber. Sphericity indicators according to SEM analysis guarantee uniform layering of metal layers by the recoater, ensuring high accuracy and stability of printed dental frames.
