Formlabs Fuse Sift Vibratory Motor 230 V is a service drive component for the powder sifting system at the Fuse Sift station. During operation, it creates vibration of the sieve mechanism, which helps to separate un-sintered powder from parts and larger particles after the completion of SLS printing.

Purpose of the Vibratory Motor

The motor provides oscillation of the sieve during the processing of used powder material. Thanks to the vibration, the powder passes through the sieve mesh, after which it can be prepared for further mixing and reuse in the work cycle.

When Replacement is Needed

The vibratory motor is subject to replacement in case of malfunction, reduction of vibration intensity or disruption of the sieve mechanism operation. Incorrect operation of the drive can complicate the sifting of the powder and affect the efficiency of the material post-processing.
