Formlabs Fuse Blast Polishing Mesh

Formlabs Fuse Blast Polishing Mesh is a replaceable element of the polishing system used during the operation of the station with Formlabs Polishing Media. Before starting the polishing mode, it is installed instead of the standard bunker grid.

Purpose of the grid

During polishing, the grid helps to separate the material and maintain its circulation inside the Fuse Blast. It is part of the working contour of the Polishing System and is used specifically for the post-processing process with polishing media.

When service and replacement are needed

During operation, residues and hardened material may accumulate on the grid, so it needs to be regularly checked and cleaned. Formlabs recommends cleaning according to the Fuse Blast maintenance schedule. If the grid is damaged or stops filtering properly, it should be replaced.
