Purpose of the Laser Module

During the printing process, the laser is directed to specific areas of the powder layer and selectively sinters the material. The module's efficient operation is necessary for stable layer formation and correct execution of the entire SLS printing cycle.

When Replacement is Needed

The laser module is replaced in case of malfunction or if diagnostics confirm problems with the operation of the laser system. A malfunction of the node can cause printing errors or completely prevent the task from being performed. After installing a new module, the printer's operation is checked using a test print.
