Formlabs Form Studio 1 Build Platform

Form Studio 1 Build Platform is a working platform for the SLA 3D printer Form Studio 1, on which models are formed during printing with photopolymer resins. It is equipped with a durable aluminum surface, and the use of an additional platform allows for quicker transitions between tasks, continuing printing while removing finished parts, and more convenient material changes.

Advantages of Form Studio 1 Build Platform

• Durable aluminum surface. The platform has a long-lasting aluminum working surface on which parts are formed during the SLA 3D printing process.
• Less downtime between tasks. A spare Build Platform can be installed in the printer and start the next print while the finished parts are being removed from the previous platform.
• Continuous workflow. The presence of an additional platform helps to maintain a consistent print cycle without the need to wait for the completion of work with the previous Build Platform.
• Convenient change of photopolymer resins. A spare platform simplifies the transition between materials and helps to organize work more effectively when different resins are used for different tasks.

Working with the platform and compatibility

Form Studio 1 Build Platform can be used as the main or additional working platform. Having a spare platform is especially useful when performing several consecutive SLA 3D printing tasks and regularly changing photopolymer materials.

For quick removal of finished parts, a separate version of Form Studio 1 Build Platform Flex with Quick Release technology is also available, which allows you to detach printed models from the working surface without tools in a few seconds.
