3D Printer BCN3D Epsilon W27 SC (Smart Cabinet) is a professional FFF 3D printer, equipped with IDEX independent dual extrusion technology and a Smart Cabinet SC module with humidity control and a built-in UPS. The equipment is designed for small-scale production of parts, prototyping and manufacturing of technological equipment from technical and composite materials.

Main configuration parameters

• Working area. The print volume is 420 × 300 × 220 mm (27 liters), which allows you to manufacturelarge parts or place a series of small components on one platform.
• IDEX system. Two independent extruders provide printing with two materials/colors, work withsoluble supports, and also support Duplication (simultaneous printing of two identical selections) andMirror (mirror manufacturing of symmetrical parts).
• Smart Cabinet (SC) module. Dries and stores filaments in an environment with relative humidity below 20%.The built-in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) maintains system operability during short-termpower outages.
• Protective camera. A fully enclosed case with passive chamber heating (up to 60 °C) maintains a stabletemperature, necessary for printing shrinkable engineering plastics.

Material compatibility

Direct filament feed (Direct Drive) from Bondtech™ and e3D™ hotendsallow working with a wide range of 2.85 mm threads:

• Standard materials: PLA, PET-G, TPU 98A, ABS, as well as PVA and BVOH support materials.
• Structural plastics: PA (nylon), PP (polypropylene).
• Composites: PAHT CF15, PET CF15, PP GF30 (require the installation of hardened Hotend X nozzles).
• Metal filaments: Ultrafuse 316L and 17-4 PH (require an optional Metal Pack and subsequent debinding/sintering).

Construction and safety

• Air filtration. The built-in HEPA class H13 filter and carbon filter retain microparticles andvolatile organic compounds during printing.
• Software. Model preparation is done in the BCN3D Stratos slicer. The BCN3D Cloud cloud service is available for remote control and management of the device.
• Interface and sensors. Control is carried out through a 5-inch color touch screen. Filament presence sensors stop printing in case of thread end or breakage.
