BCN3D Epsilon W50 is a professional FFF 3D printer equipped with Independent Dual Extrusion (IDEX) technology and a fully enclosed chamber with passive heating. The equipment is designed for the production of large functional parts from industrial materials, prototyping, and production tasks. The build volume of 420 × 300 × 400 mm allows the production of large functional parts.

Main parameters

• IDEX system. Two independent extruders support multi-material printing, printing with soluble supports, as well as Duplication (simultaneous printing of two identical models) and Mirror (mirror production of symmetrical parts) modes.
• Protective chamber. A fully enclosed housing with a passively heated chamber, the temperature of which can reach 60 °C, creates conditions for working with industrial materials.
• Automatic calibration system. An automatic calibration system based on a piezoelectric sensor performs Z-homing, auxiliary leveling of the working surface, automatic calibration of extruder offset, and also builds a surface map (Mesh Mapping).

Material compatibility

• Standard materials: PLA, PET-G, TPU 98A, as well as soluble support material BVOH.
• Technical plastics: ABS, PA (nylon), PP (polypropylene).
• Composites: PP GF30, PAHT CF15, PET CF15 (require the use of Hotend X with a 0.6 mm nozzle).
• Metal materials: Ultrafuse 316L and Ultrafuse 17-4 PH (require the use of Hotend M with a 0.4 mm nozzle and Metal Pack; after printing, the parts require further debinding and sintering from a specialized service provider).

Construction and safety

• Air filtration. The printer is equipped with a H13 HEPA filter and a carbon filter to retain particles and potentially harmful fumes during printing with industrial materials.
• Software. Model preparation is done in the BCN3D Stratos slicer. The BCN3D Cloud cloud service is available for remote control and management of the device.
• Interface and sensors. Control is carried out through a 5-inch color touch screen. The filament presence sensor automatically pauses printing when the thread ends.
