Formlabs Fuse 1+ 30W Door Hardware Repair Kit — a service kit for restoring the operation of the door mechanism of the SLS printer. The kit contains the main elements responsible for opening, closing, fixing, and controlling the position of the working chamber doors.

Purpose of the kit

The kit is used during the repair of door hardware without the need to replace the doors completely. The lock provides their fixation in the closed position, the hinges are responsible for smooth movement, and the magnet of the locking system helps the printer determine whether the doors are properly closed.

When replacement is needed

The components of the kit are replaced in case of wear, mechanical damage, or malfunction of the door mechanism. Signs of malfunction may be difficulties with opening or closing, unreliable fixation of the doors, or errors related to determining their position.
