Formlabs Fuse 1 Generation Quartz Tube Heater 230V — a replaceable heating element for the temperature system of SLS printers Fuse 1+ 30W and Fuse 1. The quartz lamp is installed in the upper part of the working chamber and participates in maintaining the temperature conditions necessary for a stable printing process.

Purpose of the quartz lamp

During the operation of the printer, the heater helps to maintain the set temperature inside the working chamber. The system uses two quartz lamps, the joint work of which provides the necessary thermal regime during selective laser sintering of powder material.

When replacement is needed

The quartz lamp is replaced in case of damage or malfunction of the heating element. The malfunction of one of the heaters can affect the printer's ability to reach and stably maintain the required temperature in the chamber. There is no fixed term for planned replacement for this part.
