Formlabs Fuse Build Chamber External Frame Gasket

The component is designed for mounting on the top part of the forming chamber in SLS printers of the Fuse 1 line. The gasket blocks the penetration of fine polymer into the closed nodes of the equipment and maintains the necessary sealing of the internal volume during printing. Updating the part is recommended when defects of the surface, signs of wear, mechanical breaks, or loss of flexibility are detected. Damage to the sealing layer threatens with leakage of consumable materials, clogging of internal mechanics, and failures in the sintering temperature regime.

Formlabs build chamber frame external gasket is compatible with Fuse 1 and Fuse 1+ 30W printers. Installation takes up to 10-15 minutes and is performed using a 2mm hexagon. The step-by-step procedure is described in the Formlabs service manual.
