Formlabs Fuse 1 Generation and Fuse Sift Powder Sensor

The optical sensor for level and presence of polymer powder for Formlabs Fuse 1+ 30W and Fuse Sift is designed for stable operation of the automatic material feed system. The component monitors the amount of powder in the hopper and timely detects its insufficient level, helping to avoid interruptions in the work cycle during 3D printing, regeneration, or sifting of the material. Sensor replacement may be required due to mechanical damage, gradual decrease in the accuracy of the optical element due to the prolonged effect of fine-dispersed powder, or the appearance of errors related to incorrect determination of the material level. The use of a compatible component allows restoring the correct determination of the polymer quantity and the normal operation of the control system. The sensor is manufactured according to the design and technical requirements of Formlabs equipment and is designed for installation in the Fuse 1, Fuse 1+ 30W systems and the post-processing station Fuse Sift.
