The motorized nitrogen valve for the Formlabs gas preparation system is responsible for automatically controlling the gas environment inside the SLS 3D printer Fuse 1+30W working chamber. Thanks to the built-in electric drive, the device switches the supply lines of compressed air and inert nitrogen.The module integrates into the overall system through quick-release pneumatic fittings and standard connectors, working in synergy withthe controller and the N2 pressure monitoring sensor. It is necessary to install a new component in case of electric drive failures, the occurrence of software errors during the changeof purge modes, natural wear of moving parts or gas circuit depressurization. Maintenance is carried out through the top cooling panel of the printer: it is enough to disconnect the pneumatic tubes andthe power connector F1+ Nitro N2 Valve Cable. The module is designed for the Fuse 1+ 30W modification and is not suitablefor basic Fuse 1 first-generation models.
