Formlabs Fuse Blast Hopper Mesh

Formlabs Fuse Blast Hopper Mesh is a replaceable element of the abrasive material handling system used during the cleaning of SLS parts. The mesh is installed in the hopper and separates larger particles and residues from the glass blasting media that is returned to the system.

Purpose of the mesh

After use, the abrasive material passes through the Hopper Mesh before recirculating in the Fuse Blast. The mesh helps to filter out foreign particles and maintain the normal movement of suitable material within the system.

When replacement is needed

The filter is replaced if the mesh is damaged, deformed, or no longer provides proper sieving of the abrasive material. Its condition is checked during regular maintenance of the station.
