3D printer Creality K2 SE
3D Printer for Fast FDM Printing and Prototyping
Creality K2 SE is a desktop FDM 3D printer with CoreXY kinematics, a Direct Drive extruder, and automatic platform calibration. The model is designed for printing prototypes, casings, models, and functional parts from PLA, PETG, TPU, and PLA-CF. Speeds of up to 500 mm/s and acceleration up to 20,000 mm/s² allow for reduced model production time with appropriate settings.
The printer has an open design, a print area of 220 × 215 × 245 mm, and a nozzle with a heating temperature of up to 300 °C. Support for multicolor printing through the separately purchased CFS system expands the possibilities for producing models in multiple colors.

CoreXY Kinematics for Precise Printing
The Creality K2 SE is equipped with CoreXY kinematics, which is responsible for moving the print head along the X and Y axes. This design reduces the weight of moving nodes and allows for operation at high accelerations. The rigid frame helps reduce vibration levels, which is important for the accuracy of dimensions and the quality of the surface of printed parts.
The Input Shaping system compensates for oscillations during acceleration and deceleration of the print head. This helps reduce wavy traces on the walls of models, especially during high-speed printing. The maximum print speed is 500 mm/s, and the acceleration is 20,000 mm/s². Working parameters depend on the type of filament, model geometry, layer height, and print settings.
Direct Drive Extruder and Nozzle Temperature
The Creality K2 SE is equipped with a Direct Drive extruder, in which the filament feed mechanism is located directly next to the print head. This allows for more precise control of plastic feed, especially when working with flexible materials.

The hotend heats up to 300 °C, and the print platform to 100 °C. The printer supports working with the following materials:
- PLA - for models, decorative models, and prototypes.
- PETG - for casings, mounts, and functional parts.
- TPU - for flexible elements, gaskets, and protective overlays.
- PLA-CF - for rigid parts with a matte surface.
To print with abrasive composite materials, it is necessary to check the compatibility of the nozzle and the filament feed mechanism. The cooling system helps the plastic retain its shape after exiting the nozzle. The intensity of the blow is adjusted according to the material and model geometry, which is important for printing overhangs, thin walls, and small elements.
Automatic Calibration and Process Control
The Creality K2 SE operates under the control of Creality OS and supports remote control of the printing process. Connection via Wi-Fi or Ethernet allows tasks to be transferred to the printer and control its operation from a computer.
Automatic Platform Calibration
The automatic calibration system with 36 points with strain gauge sensors determines the unevenness of the print platform and takes them into account when forming the first layer. This reduces equipment preparation time and reduces the need for manual adjustment.
PEI Coated Platform
The magnetic plate made of spring steel with a PEI coating helps hold the model during printing. After cooling, the finished part can be removed by gently bending the plate.
Control via Creality Print
Creality Print is used to prepare models, where you can adjust speed, temperature, layer height, fill, and supports. The 3.97-inch touchscreen allows you to control the printer's main functions.
Filament Control and 3D Print Recovery
The filament sensor monitors the presence of material, and the print recovery function allows you to continue an unfinished task after an interruption, if recovery conditions permit.

What tasks is the Creality K2 SE suitable for?
The print area allows for the production of small and medium-sized parts. The printer can be used for product development, construction testing, and the production of individual components.
Main areas of application:
- Prototyping: production of test samples for checking the shape, dimensions, and fit of parts.
- Small batch production: printing of brackets, casings, holders, and other components in small batches.
- Engineering tasks: creation of mounting devices, adapters, and auxiliary parts.
- Architecture and design: printing of scale models, decorative elements, and product models.
- Education and robotics: production of educational models, electronics casings, and parts for technical projects.
