UltiMaker Factor 4 Plus is an industrial FDM 3D printer for producing functional prototypes, manufacturing tools, spare components, and serial parts. The 330 × 240 × 300 mm build volume, dual direct extrusion, chamber temperature up to 70 °C, and build plate temperature up to 120 °C enable printing with engineering and composite filaments. The UltiMaker TRACE system records process parameters and generates data for verifying completed print jobs.
Advantages of UltiMaker Factor 4 Plus
- Printing with high-temperature materials. The nozzle heats up to 340 °C, the build plate up to 120 °C, and the chamber up to 70 °C. This enables printing with PPS CF, Nylon, PC, and other engineering plastics.
- High productivity for serial printing. The Cheetah motion planner controls printhead movement, while the H-bridge gantry design reduces vibrations during high-speed operation.

UltiMaker Factor 4 Plus works with more than 200 materials. Compatible materials include PPS CF, Nylon CF Slide, ABS, Nylon, PC, Tough PLA, PLA, PETG, CPE, CPE+, TPU 95A, and PP, as well as third-party materials with profiles available in the UltiMaker Marketplace. Filament diameter is 2.85 mm.
Different materials can be used with Print Cores AA+ 0.25/0.4/0.8 mm, BB 0.4/0.8 mm, CC+ 0.4/0.6 mm, DD 0.4 mm in selected regions, and HT 0.6 mm. Nozzle diameters from 0.25 to 0.8 mm allow the configuration to be selected according to the required model detail or production speed.
