Maximize the potential of your Formlabs printer by following this validated workflow for Dental LT Comfort Resin.

1. Digital Design

Start with a digital impression and design the splint in your preferred dental CAD software. To ensure longevity, set a minimum occlusal thickness of 2.0 mm and a wall thickness of 1.5 mm. Save the completed design as an STL file.

2. Printing on Form 3

Load the STL into PreForm and select "Dental LT Comfort" with a 100-micron layer height. Position the part with the occlusal surface angled at 10–30 degrees relative to the build platform. This orientation optimizes fit and reduces post-processing. Send the file to your Form 3 or Form 3B printer.

3. Washing and Curing

Clean the printed appliance in a Form Wash with isopropyl alcohol (≥96%) for exactly 5 minutes. Avoid over-washing. Let the part air dry fully. Then, place it in a Form Cure at 60 °C for 60 minutes to lock in the material's mechanical properties and biocompatibility.

4. Finishing Touches
