Formlabs Fuse Blast Fan Assembly is a service unit for the Fuse Blast post-processing station, responsible for moving air through the filtration system. The fan maintains the necessary airflow inside the equipment and helps the system operate stably during the cleaning of printed SLS parts.

Fan Purpose

The unit ensures air circulation in Fuse Blast: it takes it from the filtering compartment and directs it to the back of the station. The correct operation of the fan is important for the normal functioning of the air exchange system during post-processing of parts.

When Replacement is Needed

Replacement is performed in case of fan malfunction or noticeable deterioration of its operation. Signs of a problem may be unusual noise, decreased efficiency of the Fuse Blast operation, or the appearance of Error 2.8.2. The manufacturer does not set a fixed interval for the planned replacement of this unit.
