Bambu Lab Cool Plate SuperTack Magnetic Build Plate X1/P1/A1 256x256mm
Bambu Lab Cool Plate SuperTack Plate is a high-performance work surface of 256x256 mm, designed to ensure maximum first layer stability. The SuperTack version features enhanced adhesion, allowing printing with PLA and PETG without the risk of warping even at low bed temperatures. While moderate heating is sufficient for operation, the plate itself has high thermal resistance and withstands temperatures up to 120°C. The plate is compatible with Bambu Lab 3D printers of the X1, P1 series and model A1.

Advantages of the Cool Plate SuperTack
- Extreme adhesion for PLA and PETG. The special SuperTack coating provides ultra-strong bonding with these filaments, eliminating issues with detachment of large objects or parts with complex geometry.
- Smooth and matte texture. The coating gives the bottom surface of the object a natural matte appearance, allowing parts to visually blend better with other structural elements.
- Energy efficiency. Allows successful printing of PLA at a bed temperature of only 35°C, reducing energy consumption.
- High wear resistance. The improved coating retains its properties over a long period: after 300 print iterations, adhesion loss is only 20%.
- Dimensional stability. Strong fixation prevents deformation of the first layer when 3D printing large models.
- Easy removal after cooling. Like all Bambu Lab flexible plates, after printing and cooling, the part can be easily removed by slightly bending the steel base.
Installing the plate on the Bambu Lab X1/P1/A1 platforms
- Step 1. Align the plate with the platform's fixing points so that the name of the plate faces you.

- Step 2. Lower the plate and secure it on the magnetic platform.

Application Options
The plate is specifically designed for working with the most popular engineering and decorative materials:
- PLA (all types except Silk): Matte, Tough, PLA-CF, etc.
- PETG: ideal for strong parts prone to shrinkage.
Technical Tips and Settings
- How to remove a complex model: use the scraper included with the printer to gently lift the edge of the print. If the model is too firmly attached, heat the platform to 50°C — this will ease removal. Be careful with the scraper as the plate surface is soft.
- PLA Silk caution: Bambu PLA Silk material has too strong adhesion to this plate, which may damage the model during removal. We do not recommend using Bambu PLA Silk on this surface. For third-party silk plastics, use the Generic PLA Silk preset in Bambu Studio and pre-check compatibility.
- TPU prohibition: do not use this filament on the SuperTack plate — it will damage the work surface.
- Nozzle cleaning zone: before auto-calibration, the nozzle is cleaned in a special wiping area. Gradual wear of the coating in this area is anticipated and does not affect print quality.
- Care: SuperTack provides excellent adhesion without regular cleaning or glue. In case of heavy contamination, wash the surface with water and a colorless dish detergent. Do not use acetone or other organic solvents — they will destroy the coating.
- Wear: the plate is considered a consumable. Increasing the bed temperature enhances adhesion, so you can adjust the heating according to your needs.
