The Formlabs Fuse Sift is an all-in-one system for efficient part extraction, powder recovery, storage, and mixing, designed to complement the Fuse 1 3D printer. This user-friendly station enables a safe and streamlined workflow for handling SLS powder—extracting, sifting, storing, dosing, and mixing—all within a single device, offering top functionality in the SLS market.

How Fuse Sift Operates

Negative air pressure system retains powder inside the station while allowing open access and easy cleaning. Fine powder remains within the work chamber, preventing contamination in the surrounding workspace. The hood offers open access, while the built-in vacuum hose simplifies parts cleaning.
Low waste. With a 30% material refresh rate, the Fuse Sift allows printing with up to 70% recycled powder. It filters out particles to be blended with new powder for future prints.
Automatic powder mixing. Fuse Sift automatically doses and blends used and new powder, minimizing waste and ensuring consistent powder flow.
Continuous SLS printing. The modular Build Chambers and Powder Cartridges can be moved between the Fuse 1 and Fuse Sift to maintain a continuous SLS printing cycle.
Comprehensive finishing tools. Fuse Sift includes a full set of tools for easy removal of excess powder from printed parts.
