Mingda MD-1000D — is a powerful industrial-grade additive manufacturing system designed for producing monolithic large-format products, functional prototypes, casting molds, and durable tooling. With its huge 1000 × 1000 × 1000 mm build volume and enclosed heated chamber, there is no longer any need to split complex 3D models into separate parts and then glue them together — you get a complete, strong part in a single printing cycle.

Industrial Kinematics and Record Speeds

  • Dynamics and acceleration: the printer reaches operating parameters in just 0.02 seconds, with acceleration of up to 10 000 mm/s² and a printing speed of up to 300 mm/s.
  • High productivity: the hotend flow rate reaches 40 mm³/s, ensuring fast extrusion even when processing large volumes of plastic.
  • Precision mechanics: axis movement is carried out using high-precision HIWIN linear guides and closed-loop servo motors. This completely eliminates skipped steps under high loads and ensures quiet, smooth operation.

Dual Extrusion System

The dual-channel print head expands the technological capabilities of the equipment:

  • Printing with soluble and easy-to-remove supports: the use of specialized filaments (S-Multi, S-HtPA) makes it possible to create objects with highly complex geometries without the risk of damaging the surface of the finished part when removing supports.
  • Multi-material and dual-color printing: the ability to combine different types or colors of plastic within a single production cycle.

Reliable Construction and Thermal Control

The all-metal body, manufactured from CNC-machined sheet metal, ensures structural rigidity and vibration damping. The enclosed heated chamber with passive heating up to 45 °C maintains a stable microclimate, preventing warping, shrinkage, and delamination of temperature-sensitive materials during extended printing sessions.

Intelligent Automation and Safety

Full control over every layer: the printer operates using the high-performance Klipper firmware, providing precise positioning and flexible configuration options.

  • Automatic self-diagnostics: before each start, the system checks the operation of the hotends, build platform heating status, Z/XY shifts, fan operation, and camera.
  • Multi-level protection: an optical sensor monitors filament presence and feeding. In the event of a power failure, the system parks the print head, lowers the platform, and saves the exact position — printing resumes from the same point after power is restored.
  • Remote control and monitoring: thanks to Wi-Fi/Ethernet modules and the built-in HD camera, you can monitor the process in real time and remotely manage an entire fleet of 3D printers.
  • Proprietary slicer: the MINGDA OrcaSlicer software includes ready-made factory profiles for all compatible material types.

Wide Range of Compatible Materials

Thanks to a nozzle temperature of up to 350 °C, a PEI-coated build platform heated to 110 °C, and the heated chamber, the Mingda MD-1000D works with virtually any type of plastic:

  • Glass fiber reinforced (GF): PET-GF, HtPA-GF, HtPA-GF25, PPS-GF, ABS-GF.

Active filament drying: a sealed moisture-resistant box with drying functionality and auxiliary filament feeding is located at the bottom of the frame. It is designed to accommodate 2 large spools weighing up to 3 kg each.
