Large Build Volume for Large Models
When using one extruder, the CreatBot D600 Pro3 HS has a build volume of 620 × 620 × 620 mm. In dual-extruder printing mode, the available space is 565 × 620 × 620 mm. This format makes it possible to print large models as a single piece or reduce the number of separate parts into which the design must be divided before manufacturing.
The large platform is combined with an independent four-axis Z-axis design. Four drives can individually adjust the height of the platform corners, maintaining its parallelism relative to the printer gantry and simplifying preparation for large-format printing.
High-Speed Printing and High-Performance Extrusion System
The D600 Pro3 HS runs on Klipper firmware and is designed for high-speed printing. The maximum speed is 600 mm/s, while the maximum volumetric material flow is 90 mm³/s. The model page also specifies a stable operating speed of up to 300 mm/s.
The new-generation dual extrusion system supports nozzle heating up to 420 °C. Heating to 400 °C takes about 2 minutes, while the temperature control accuracy is ±0.15 °C. The printer is equipped with two extruders with automatic lifting.
The standard nozzle diameter is 0.6 mm. Options of 0.3; 0.4; 0.8 and 1.0 mm are also supported, allowing the configuration to be selected according to the required level of detail and printing productivity.
Automatic Calibration and First Layer Control
For the large platform, the CreatBot D600 Pro3 HS uses an automatic leveling system based on high-frequency electromagnetic sensing. The measurement accuracy of the system is 0.001 mm, while a complete scan of the build plate takes about 60 seconds.
The printer also automates the calibration of the two nozzles. The X/Y offset is determined using a camera with an accuracy of 0.02 mm, while two photoelectric sensors with an accuracy of 0.005 mm are used for the Z axis. This reduces the number of manual operations required when preparing the dual extrusion system.
The technical specifications separately indicate a positioning accuracy of 0.00375 mm on the X/Y axes and 0.00156 mm on the Z axis.
Dual Extrusion and Automatic Nozzle Backup
Two extruders make it possible to work with primary and auxiliary materials. The design uses a dual nozzle shutter system intended, in particular, for printing with support materials.
A backup operating mode is also provided: if the filament in the first nozzle runs out, the printer can automatically switch to the second nozzle and continue the process. The filament sensor also stops printing when the material runs out so that the operator can install a new spool without losing printing progress.
Actively Heated Chamber up to 80 °C
The enclosed build chamber can be actively heated up to 80 °C. The design has a double layer of thermal insulation material to stabilize temperature conditions around the model.
Maintaining a controlled temperature is especially important when working with large parts made of engineering thermoplastics: it helps reduce thermal stresses, warping, delamination, and cracking caused by uneven cooling of the material.
The system also uses a chamber heating control algorithm and Z Magic Box technology designed to compensate for thermal expansion of the frame and build plate and reduce surface defects of tall models along the Z axis.
Filament Drying Directly in the Printer
The CreatBot D600 Pro3 HS is equipped with a separate material drying compartment with an adjustable temperature of 0–70 °C and a timer. It is designed for working with hygroscopic filaments, including nylon, PC, PA-CF, and PET-CF, whose properties may deteriorate due to moisture absorption.
Drying the material before feeding it to the extruder helps reduce defects associated with excess moisture in the filament and maintain stable conditions during long printing jobs.
External Air Cooling
The printer uses a separate external air supply system with a pump. It provides stable airflow for cooling the model and simultaneously contributes to the thermal protection of the printhead. The system is designed for long-term operation and a low noise level.
Removable Magnetic Platform
The large-format magnetic platform can be removed from the printer, making it easier to separate finished models after printing is complete. The platform is designed for temperatures above 100 °C and long-term use without demagnetization.
Reliability and Safety During Long Prints
The CreatBot D600 Pro3 HS is equipped with a door monitoring system. If the doors are opened during operation, the system stops printer operations. The locking mechanism also restricts access to moving components during printing.
In the event of a power outage, the printer saves the current job data and the position of the printhead. After power is restored, the process can be continued from the stopping point instead of restarting the entire model.
Reinforced linear guides and servo drives are used for movement along the axes, designed for stable movement of the large printing system at high speeds.
Air Filtration
The air purification system has two filtration stages. The HEPA filter captures fine particles, while the activated carbon layer is designed to absorb volatile organic compounds and odors generated when working with certain types of thermoplastics.
Control and Connectivity
The printer is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen display and supports connection via USB, USB storage device, Wi-Fi, and LAN.
Control is possible both through network functions and in local mode without an Internet connection. Through the local network, equipment can be controlled, prepared files can be transferred, and firmware can be updated. Camera monitoring is provided for remote process control.
For model preparation, CreatWare, OrcaSlicer, Cura, and Slic3r are supported. Compatible file formats: G-code, STL, 3MF, OBJ, AMF, STP, and STEP. Windows and macOS operating systems are supported
