Educational STEM kit with KLEMA SCHOOL 3D printer

KLEMA SCHOOL 3D Printer | Educational Set is a ready-to-go kit for implementing FDM 3D printing technology in STEM labs of educational institutions. Students will be able to create digital models, convert them into physical prototypes, and carry out practical STEM projects with technology, mathematics, and engineering design. The set includes the main equipment, consumable material, and a tool for preparing the working platform, so the institution can start educational 3D printing without separately selecting the basic components. The set can be included in the equipment purchases according to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science №818, and the compliance with a specific technical specification is determined by the current list of the Ministry of Education and Science.

What's included in the set:

*We offer 4 colors to choose from.

All components of the set are presented as separate items. You can review their detailed description and specifications using the links in the list.

Technical capabilities of the educational set

Educational 3D printer for modeling and prototyping

KLEMA SCHOOL operates on FDM technology and has a working area of 250×250×350 mm, a brass hotend with a 0.4 mm nozzle, a maximum hotend temperature of 280 °C, and a working platform heating up to 110 °C. The minimum layer height is 30 microns, and the maximum print speed is up to 300 mm/s. The metal case ensures the stability of the structure, acrylic panels limit accidental access to moving parts, and internal lighting allows you to observe the model making. The printer is equipped with a display, supports connection via USB or Wi-Fi, and has a Ukrainian language interface, which simplifies its use in the learning process.

Adhesive for a stable first layer

Magigoo Original with a volume of 50 ml is designed for FDM printing with PLA, ABS, PETG, HIPS, ASA, and TPU materials. The glue is applied to the working platform using a built-in applicator, improves the adhesion of the first layer, and helps prevent model deformation during printing. After the platform cools down, the finished product is easily removed, and the remnants of the product are easily washed off with water. The glue is odorless, non-toxic, and designed for over 100 print cycles, making it suitable for regular classes in the STEM lab.

PETG for durable educational models

Farm 3D PETG is supplied on a spool weighing 1 kg and has a standard filament diameter of 1.75 mm. The print temperature is 230–260 °C, the recommended value is 240 °C, and the working platform temperature is 70–85 °C. The material is characterized by minimal shrinkage and strong interlayer adhesion, making it suitable for making housings, mounts, mounting elements, functional parts, and engineering prototypes. For an educational institution, PETG is a practical material with which students can test structures, assemble mechanisms, and evaluate the strength of printed products.

Ideas for lessons and STEM projects

  • Mathematics and geometry. Construction of volumetric figures, scaling of models, and checking calculated dimensions after printing.
  • Engineering design. Creation of a mount, case, or stand with subsequent testing of the structure.
  • Technology. Going through the full cycle from sketch and 3D model to slicer settings and prototype manufacturing.
  • Project work. Development of a useful product for the educational institution, for example, an organizer, holder, mechanism model, or educational model.
  • Material research. Comparison of the impact of temperature, layer height, and fill on the quality, duration of printing, and strength of the product.

Start learning 3D printing today

Create a modern STEM space in your educational institution for practical learning of 3D technologies. The KLEMA SCHOOL educational set allows you to quickly organize classes in 3D modeling, printing, and creating functional prototypes without separately selecting basic equipment and materials.

Order the KLEMA SCHOOL set or go to the STEM solutions section for educational institutions to select individual equipment. Our specialists will form a configuration according to the tasks of the institution, prepare a technical specification for purchase or tender, and help equip a modern technology classroom of the New Ukrainian School.
