Purpose of the HEPA Filter

During the operation of Fuse Blast, powder residues and blasting media enter the air stream. The HEPA filter retains these particles before the air passes through the system, so its condition directly affects the normal operation of the filtration.

When Service and Replacement are Needed

Formlabs recommends checking the condition of the HEPA filter approximately every 30 hours of Fuse Blast operation. If necessary, it is cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or serviced after the appropriate message on the station's display. If the filter remains dirty after cleaning, it should be replaced.
