Formlabs Fuse Sift Dispenser Assembly is a service component of the powder handling system, responsible for the metered delivery of fresh and recycled material. The unit is used during the preparation of the powder mixture before loading it into the cartridge for the next SLS printing cycle.

Dispenser Purpose

During the material preparation process, Fuse Sift selects powder from the appropriate hoppers and forms a mixture according to the set renewal coefficient. The dispenser ensures the supply of the necessary amount of new and reused powder, after which the prepared material goes into the powder cartridge.

When Replacement is Needed

The unit is replaced in case of malfunction or violation of the dosing process. Signs of a problem may be incorrect powder supply, material spillage, or failures during cartridge filling. The need for replacement is determined by the results of diagnostics and technical service of Fuse Sift.
