Nylon 11 CF with carbon fiber is a newly available powder for use with the Formlabs Fuse 1+ 30W 3D printer. This engineering material is reinforced with chopped carbon fiber added to Nylon 11 Powder, creating a composite that’s both strong and rigid for SLS printing, while also lighter due to its lower density.

With the advanced capabilities of the Fuse 1+ 30W, Nylon 11 CF powder enables fast and efficient printing of durable engineering parts right in your workshop or lab.

Applications of Nylon 11 CF

Nylon 11 CF, reinforced with carbon fiber, provides excellent strength, making it ideal for creating high-quality parts and prototypes that need rigidity, strength, and lightweight properties, as well as impact and load resistance:

Important: Nylon 11 CF powder requires a 300-micron Sift 300 sieve for optimal results.

Nylon 11 CF comes in a box containing two 3kg containers and an RFID card preloaded with virtual print credit.

The fresh powder is added to the Fuse Sift Powder Processing Station, and the RFID card credits the printer, allowing Fuse 1+ to monitor material usage and available new powder.
