Technical tips and operating features

For a long service life of the Textured PEI Plate, follow these rules:

• Nozzle cleaning zone. Before automatic leveling, the printer repeatedly wipes the nozzle in a special area of the plate. Gradual wear of the coating in this area is normal and does not affect print quality.
• Surface cleanliness. Dust and grease from fingers significantly impair adhesion. Regularly wash the plate with water and a mild dishwashing detergent.
• Strict prohibition on acetone. Never clean the textured surface with acetone — this will irreversibly damage the PEI coating.
• Restoring adhesion. If cleaning does not help, you can carefully treat the surface with fine-grit sandpaper (grit 600).
• Cooling. Always wait a few minutes before removing the model to avoid damaging the plate and ensure easy release.
