3D printer BCN3D Epsilon W50 SC (Smart Cabinet) is a professional FFF 3D printer with independent dual extrusion IDEX and a Smart Cabinet SC module with humidity control andbuilt-in uninterruptible power supply. The working volume of 420 × 300 × 400 mm (50 l) allows for the production of large solid partsor the placement of a series of small components on one platform. The equipment is designed for small-scaleproduction, prototyping, and the manufacture of technical equipment from technical, composite, and metalmaterials.

Features of the model configuration

• IDEX system. Two independent extruders provide printing with two materials or colors, work withsoluble supports, and also support Duplication (simultaneous printing of two identical products) andMirror (mirror production of symmetrical parts) modes.
• Smart Cabinet (SC) module. Dries and stores filaments in an environment with a relative humidity below 20%.The built-in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) maintains system operability during short-termpower outages.
• Protective chamber. A fully enclosed case with passive chamber heating up to 60 °C maintains a stabletemperature, necessary for printing with engineering plastics with high shrinkage.

Compatibility with materials

• Standard materials: PLA, PET-G, TPU 98A, ABS, as well as support materials PVA and BVOH.
• Structural plastics: PA (nylon), PP (polypropylene).
• Composites: PAHT CF15, PET CF15, PP GF30, which require the installation of hardened Hotend X nozzles.
• Metal filaments: Ultrafuse 316L and 17-4 PH, which require an optional Metal Pack kit andsubsequent debinding and sintering.

Construction and safety

• Air filtration. Built-in HEPA filter class H13 and carbon filter retain microparticles andvolatile organic compounds formed during printing.
• Software. Model preparation is carried out in the BCN3D Stratos slicer. The BCN3D Cloud cloud serviceprovides remote control and management of the device.
• Interface and sensors. Control is carried out through a 5-inch full-color touch screen. Filament presence sensorsstop printing in case of filament end or breakage.
